2024 Recap
In 2024, Nana Baby Children’s Home accomplished several significant improvements, including the installation of a new carport roof to replace the old, damaged one. The property was fully fenced, a fallen tree was removed, and a new gate was added to the driveway for safety. Additionally, a large, beautiful therapeutic garden was created for the children to enjoy and benefit from.
All of these improvements were made possible thanks to generous donors like you. A special thank you to Banco Popular for funding our garden project, and to Caribbean Packaging for creating a holiday matching opportunity to help us repair our fence. Your support is truly appreciated!
What’s Next?
This year, we have big plans ahead! With the support of the Government of the Virgin Islands, we hope to move into a larger home for children ages 0-12, providing them with the space they need to grow and thrive. We are excited for what’s to come and are grateful for the continued support of our community!
Once we move to the new location, we plan to convert our current home into a much-needed facility for teens on St. Thomas. Currently, there are no places for teens in crisis to turn to, and we are committed to filling that gap. This will be a solely community-funded mission, and we need your support to make it a reality. Together, we can make a lasting difference for these young people in need.
Over 35 years ago, Louise Ali had a dream and a vision to create a safe, loving home for children in need. Thanks to her dedication and the support of this community, she not only achieved that goal, but the mission continues to thrive. We have provided a home for thousands of children, and with your help, we want to reach even more. Let’s work together to make Louise proud and give these teenage children—who are so often overlooked—a brighter future. Your support will make all the difference.

Chickens coming soon! We use about 60 eggs a week between cooking, baking and breakfast. Chickens will make an excellent addition to our Nana family. The children are looking forward to learning how to care for baby chicks and raise them!
Christmas was Merry and Bright this year thanks to individuals from the community who sponsored wish lists! Children woke to a sea of generosity that lifted their spirits. We gave thanks, prayed, sang carols, and had a delicious meal prepared by Route 33!
Our 3rd Annual Tunes & Taco ThrowDown was an absolute blast! We had 15 taco booths and 7 margarita entries to try! Bands featured DJ Reg, Reggae Dynasty Band, Without Doubt and all the way from New Orleans, Deltaphonic!
